Coffee Origin : Uganda
Uganda has a rich and deeply rooted coffee heritage, shaped by generations of farmers and the country’s fertile landscapes. The Rwenzori Mountains, often called the “Mountains of the Moon,” provide an exceptional environment for growing high-quality coffee, with their high elevations, volcanic soils, and favorable climate.
The Kasese region, nestled along the slopes of the Rwenzori Mountains, has gained recognition for producing distinctive specialty coffees with remarkable depth and character. Natural processing allows the coffee cherries to dry with the fruit intact, enhancing their natural sweetness, fruit-forward flavors, and complexity.
Today, coffees like this Rwenzori Kasese Natural showcase Uganda’s growing reputation in the specialty coffee world, offering a vibrant expression of the region’s unique terroir and generations of coffee-growing tradition.
